I had an awesome experience with Shades. Their prices are quite fair, especially when you factor in the fitting, and the quality of the blinds is top-notch. In the past, I’ve run into problems with other companies when it came to measuring and fitting, but Shades made it all super easy.

STAY AWAY FROM BOOKING APPOINTMENTS ON THEIR SITE!! They’ve switched up how they hire folks, and I ended up with a subcontractor who sent me three different invoices, even though I only received one via email. When I raised this issue, Customer Service agreed and said they’d check with Chris (the estimator) about it. Fast forward a week, and they claimed the charges were correct, insisting I wasn’t billed extra for the subcontractor’s visit. As an accountant, I can tell you that the other two invoices clearly included an extra fee for that subcontractor. Shades has done all my homes before, and I’ve always sung their praises... but NOT THIS TIME. NEVER AGAIN!

I recently got a couple of blackout blinds installed, but I've also used Shades before for vertical and day/night blinds. They really are a top-notch company all around, providing superb service from the initial contact through to measuring and installation. The prices are great, and their after-sales support is just as impressive.

I highly suggest them for any kind of blinds you might be thinking about.

There was a bit of a wait for the appointment, but the installer showed up earlier than we had planned. He was super efficient. We ran into a snag with one of the blinds not fitting right, but the installer figured it out and fixed the blind, getting it installed. He was really helpful and did everything possible to make sure all the blinds were put up that day. Big thanks to Mark!

Awesome price during the January sales! I ordered some blinds, and they were installed in just a few days.

I reached out to Shades through their online contact form. The way they communicated was top-notch. An agent came by at a time that worked for me, took measurements, and then the installer showed up a few days after. Every person I interacted with during the whole process delivered an outstanding service. The blinds that were put in look gorgeous and are crafted really well; the materials used are of excellent quality too. I’d definitely recommend them and will be telling my friends and family about it.
